Job role:
Would be responsible Credit risk assessment for Trade Credit Insurance, Surety Bonds, and Reinsurance counterparties, ensuring all underwriting aligns with IRDAI regulations and the company’s risk appetite.
Key Accountabilities:
- Credit Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence on prospective and existing clients, including analysis of audited reports, cash flows, debt-to-equity ratios etc. to assess their ability to honor financial obligations.
- Underwriting: Approve or recommend terms for high-value credit limits for large corporates for trade credit & surety proposals.
- Risk Modeling: Develop and update credit scoring models to predict default probabilities and set data-driven exposure limits for diverse client segments.
- Portfolio Surveillance: Monitor the ongoing financial health of the insured client base, identifying early warning signs of credit deterioration to trigger proactive de-risking.
- Policy & Governance: Develop credit risk frameworks in line with solvency norms and internal mandates.
- Portfolio Surveillance: Identify sectoral or macroeconomic trends to proactively de-risk the insured portfolio.
- Team Leadership: Manage a specialized team of analysts to maintain high quality in credit appraisals and monitoring..
Requirements:
- At least 8 to 15 years in Credit Analysis with leading Banks or large corporate lending companies.
