Head- Actuarial Reserving.

Role Summary: 

Handle actuarial reserving and regulatory reporting for various lines of General Insurance. 

Responsibilities:

Perform monthly/quarterly reserve calculations, estimate IBNR and ultimate losses, conduct Actual vs Expected analysis, investigate unusual claims/large losses/catastrophes, and present reserving results. The role also handles IRDAI-related reporting such as IBNR, FCR and STNL, improves data-quality controls and reserving processes, automates reporting, reviews junior analysts' work, and coordinates with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Reinsurance, IT and Operations. 

Requirements:

• Atleast 3–6 years' Reserving experience in General Insurance or GI consulting.
• Good progress in actuarial examinations. 
• Strong analytical/statistical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Comfortable with ResQ, SAS and Python.
• Strong communication, presentation, model-validation and stakeholder-management capability.
• Understanding of the GI market, regulatory environment and product/commercial considerations.
